Course Goals
Develop participants’ ability to create visually and content-rich (impactful) presentations tailored to different audiences and situations, using both classical and artificial intelligence approaches.
After the Course Participants Will Be Able To
- Make clear, structured and focused presentations
- Tailor the content of presentations to the audience and context
- Manage the basic principles of slide and visual communication, avoiding information overload
- Effectively present data and complex information in a visual manner
- Use artificial intelligence tools to develop presentation ideas, content and design
- Feel more confident in a variety of presentation formats, both during presentations and in document form
- Gain inspiration for presentation style from the startup world – short, concise and persuasive

Course is open to all.

Theoretical insights are combined with practical training.
Course content

1. Purpose of the Presentation: What Do I Want to Say and Why?
• How to define the purpose of the message and tailor it to the audience. Why is it even necessary?
• AI hack – audience tailoring / testing an existing text
2. Storytelling Basics
• How to structure a story – the CART model
• The power of comparisons + AI hack, how to find them with ChatGPT
• AI hack – how to improve storytelling in existing speech
3. Effective Slides and Visual Communication
• How to “clean up” slides and reduce information overload
• How to choose appropriate images and other visual elements
• Visualising complex data or information
• How presentation slides differ from slides to be sent
4. Inspiration from the Startup Environment
• How to present an idea in 3 minutes (pitch)
• Practical examples of how to hook the audience and how to end the presentation “on a high note”
5. Additional Benefit: Practical Tips and Shortcuts on Artificial Intelligence Tools, Sharing from Experience
• How to use AI for idea generation and story structuring
• Optimising text and selecting visuals
• Tools specifically suited for creating presentations
Zane Bojāre
Zane Bojāre is an experienced marketing communications and branding professional, for the past 10 years she has been working in the startup field – leading Marketing team at one of Europe’s leading startup accelerator funds – Startup Wise Guys, as well as training more than 500 startup founders in the art of pitching to investors. Her clients have won pitch competitions, as well as secured investment. Zane’s approach is characterised by combo of hands-on practicality from startup world where every second and slide counts, with a deeper, philosophical perspective – she holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy, which gives her work strategic depth and intentionality. Zane believes that anyone can become a persuasive speaker and is therefore willing to share her experiences and lessons learned.
